Doberman SOS Rescue Charity Wash-a-thon
On Sunday, October 8th,
2006, Canine
Creek hosted a wash-a-thon fundraiser for Doberman Pinscher SOS,
located in Tehachapi, California. All
bathing proceeds collected on that day were donated to this charity to
help the local Doberman rescue efforts. We are pleased to announce
that this one-day event raised over $920 for the dogs!

Ways you can help...
Winter is approaching, and the Doberman
SOS rescue needs your donations of used household goods to keep the dogs warm and
happy, including blankets, bedspreads, and afghans. They also need
large and X-Large plastic crates and carriers, large and X-Large
igloo-style dog houses, heavy duty toys like ropes, rubber balls and chewies,
and sturdy dog collars in the 14" to 18" range. If you have items
to donate, they may be dropped off at Canine Creek during normal
business hours (10am and 6pm), any day of the week. As a courtesy
to our neighboring businesses, please do not leave donations on the
doorstep. Thank you!

MEMORY OF CANELLO
Scrub-a-Dub for Dobies was held on October 8th in memory of Canello,
who lost his fight with a heart tumor the day before the event, and had to be put down.
Funds raised from this event will help to pay his medical bills.
If you would like to donate to Canello's medical fund, checks payable to
"Doberman SOS Rescue" may be dropped off or mailed to Canine Creek.
