May Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic

AngelDogs will be in Tehachapi for a low-cost pet spay/neuter clinic at Canine Creek on Saturday, May 19th. The cost for a pet to be fixed, receive an Avid microchip implant, and a rabies shot is as follows: $95 for cats, $115 for small dogs (up to 20 pounds), $125 for medium dogs (21 to 60 pounds), and $145 for large dogs (over 61 pounds). An e-collar is required when picking up your pet after surgery, and is included in these prices. (Deduct $5 from the above prices if you bring one with you.) Advance reservations are required, and a limited number of spots are available. Call Brandie at Angel Dogs at 818-915-4382 to make an appointment. Clinic payments are cash only.
Visits are made by this mobile veterinary van to Tehachapi every other month. Ask a Canine Creek staff member for more information on the AngelDogs Foundation services.

Canine Creek will be there with unique products for sale, and we'll be doing raffle drawings to win prizes. Raffle tickets will be given to guests with every purchase of wine - (1) ticket for a glass of wine, and (4) tickets for every bottle purchased during the event. Raffle tickets will also be on sale in the Souza gift shop. A portion of wine sale proceeds will be donated by Souza to Marley's Mutts.

CASTING CALL! A talent company will be doing a casting call photo shoot at Canine Creek on Wednesday, February 6th starting at 1pm. They are looking for adult dogs to be featured on print media for nationally-distributed products. They are looking for the following breeds:
- St Bernard
- Border Collie
- Australian Shepherd
- Rhodesian Ridgeback
- Shar Pei
- Yellow Lab
- Pug
- Bernese Mountain Dog
- Miniature Dachshund
- Long-Haired Chihuahua
- Corgi
- Long-Haired Dachshund
- Miniature Schnauzer
Dogs must be adults (no seniors or puppies), at a good healthy weight, well-behaved on leash and around other dogs, cannot be shaved, and should look like the breed standard (no mixes). There is no pay for this if your dog is selected, but you will have bragging rights!
Please, bring only the breeds requested for this shoot. If chosen, we will discuss the details with you as far as payment logistics and how it all works (don't sell your house and make plans to move to Aruba yet. Animal Actors are not paid on the same scale as their human counterparts even though many of them are far more talented). We will also, with your permission, keep your dog's photos on file for consideration for upcoming projects

We're moving back to the Heart of Tehachapi! Our new 3,000 SF location will be conveniently located at the corner of Valley Blvd. and Tucker Rd - just next to ReMax. This central location will be perfect for those of you running errands and grocery shopping and much closer for those who live out in Stallion Springs and Bear Valley Springs.
