Walk-in Pet Care Clinic (Saturday, August 7th, 2010)
Shots for dogs and cats will be offered by Dr. David Gantenbein of Antelope Valley Animal Hospital, and nail trimming by Janice Gantenbein.  Vaccine prices:  6 in 1 (dog) = $18, 4 in 1 (cats) = $11, Rabies with certificate = $8, Bordatella = $13, Rattlesnake vaccine = $22.  The 4-in-1 + Feline Leukemia for cats is $23.  All vaccines are also subject to a $1 needle disposal fee.  Nail trimming $15 to $20 per pet, depending on nail condition and pet cooperation.  Microchipping is $45 per pet, which includes a one-time registration fee (not annual).  Microchips are CASH ONLY, and pet owners will need to complete their chip registration with Avid.  Payments for shots/nails may be made by cash or check payable to Dajazoo.

 

Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Clinics with Angel Dogs (July 17, 2010)
The
Angel Dogs Foundation will be in Tehachapi on Saturday, July 17th, for a low-cost pet spay/neuter clinic in front of Canine Creek. The cost for a pet to be fixed, receive an Avid microchip implant, and a rabies shot is as follows: $90 for cats, $110 for small dogs (up to 20 pounds), $120 for medium dogs (21 to 60 pounds), and $140 for large dogs (over 61 pounds). Advance reservations are required, and a limited number of spots are available.  Call Brandie at Angel Dogs at 818-915-4382 to make an appointment. Clinic payments are cash only.

 

2nd Annual Hotdog Festival Wiener Run (July 4, 2010)
Join us at the 2nd annual Wiener Run at the Hotdog Festival in Tehachapi's Central Park on Sunday, July 4th, where speedy Dachshunds will run for fun and bragging rights, plus cash prizes to the winners! Want to enter YOUR dog? Advance registration is $10 for the 1st dog and $5 for each additional dog in the same family if paid by July 1st.
AWARDS: First place $100, 2nd place $50, and 3rd place $25. To enter the Wiener Run, dogs must be pure-bred Dachshunds (no mixes). On-site registration will be from 11am to Noon, with a same-day registration fee of $20 for the 1st dog, and $10 for each additional. The races will begin at 1pm. Ready to register? Bark For Life - Relay For Life Dog Walk Fundraiser (Saturday, April 24, 2010)
Relay For Life Tehachapi invites you to join them at the 2nd annual BARK For Life fundraiser for the American Cancer Society on Saturday, April 24th. Come walk with your dog and help raise money for Relay For Life. Registration begins at 11:15am on the grassy area across from Canine Creek on the corner of Tehachapi Blvd and Snyder Avenue. Opening ceremonies will be at Noon, followed by a walk down Tehachapi Blvd with the dogs. The walk registration fee is $15 for the first dog, and $5 for each additional dog in the same family. Anesthesia-Free Pet Dental Clinics
Monthly, Starting January 2010

Starting Sunday,
January 24th, Canine Creek Pet Wash & Boutique will be offering professional anesthesia-free pet teeth cleaning each month with the dental hygienists from Canine Care. These dental clinics will be held on the 4th Sunday of each month.  The cost is Prices are
All Sizes/All Breeds of dogs and cats are & $110.00 flat rate for all sizes/breeds of dogs and cats for one-time service, with a lower-cost monthly maintenance option at $21.00 per month. Too busy to make it to the store before we close?  Let Tehachapi Room Service deliver your Canine Creek purchases!  Call Canine Creek during normal business hours, place your order by phone with a credit card, and Room Service will deliver your purchases.  Delivery fees start at $8 per order in town, with service to Bear Valley, Stallion and other outlying areas slightly higher.  Contact Canine Creek for more information.
