SHIPPING INFORMATION - CONTINENTAL
USA
Items mailed within the
continental USA are sent via insured
Priority Mail or 1st class mail.
Please include a street address when
ordering. Shipping & handling is charged a flat rate, based on the
total purchase, before tax, as follows:

INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS
The shipping and handing charges
imposed by our Paypal shopping cart are NOT applicable outside the
continental USA. Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Canada and all other
international destinations will be charged actual insured postage via
the US Postal service, plus a $5 handling charge.
If you live outside the continental USA,
contact us by e-mail to place an
order, and we will determine postage to your country, then email you a
Paypal invoice in US Dollars. Please
do NOT use the shopping cart, as it does not reflect postage costs for
non-USA destinations. International
orders placed via the shopping cart will canceled and re-billed with
correct postage added. Please note that we only ship to confirmed
addresses within approved Paypal countries.
SALES TAX
We are located in California, so all
shipments mailed within the state are charged 7.25% sales tax
upon checkout. If you are outside California, you will not be
charged sales tax.
RETURNS
Although we are a small boutique shop
in a rural town, we work very hard to offer our customers competitive
pricing, in addition to attentive, personal service. In a world of
big box stores with deep pockets and volume buying power, this is not
easy to do and still stay in business. Since returns are an
expensive part of running a retail store, it is necessary for us to keep
this expense under control. Therefore, our web sales policy is
All Sales Final,
with no returns accepted, once the order has been shipped. If you
have questions about the items we sell, or need recommendations for your
dog, please feel free to call the shop for assistance. We are open
daily from 10am to 6pm daily, Pacific Time. The number is (661)

ITEM AVAILABILITY
As an independent boutique store, we
do not stock large quantities of most items... we simply don't have the
space. Because our website does not have real-time inventory
controls, and products are also being sold in our store, it's possible
that some items may be out of stock when you order. We try to keep
the site updated so this doesn't happen, but it is a possibility from
time to time, especially during busy periods.
Should we be out of stock, we will
contact you to confirm if you want to 1) make a substitution, 2) receive
a refund for the difference, or 3) wait for your shipment until we can
fill your complete order. If you would like to check item
availability before placing an order, please call the store at (661)
822-0307 between 10am and 6pm, Pacific Time. We are open 7 days a
week.
PAYMENT METHODS
We accept payment online by credit
card through the PayPal shopping cart, by credit card over the phone,
and personal check through the mail. If you are mailing a payment,
please
contact us first, to confirm item availability and the total amount
due with shipping and sales tax (if applicable). If you'd like to
order by credit card over the phone, the number is (661) 822-0307.
For security reasons, we do not accept phone orders for international
shipments -- they must be paid online via
www.Paypal.com and mailed to a
confirmed and verified PayPal shipping address.
ORDER PROCESSING
The Canine Creek store in Tehachapi is
open 7 days a week, but online orders are processed and shipped Monday
through Friday only, excluding national holidays. The normal turn-around time from receipt of
your order to shipment is 2
to 3 business days (Monday thru
Friday). If your
order cannot be processed within this time frame, we will notify you.
To insure the privacy of our
customers, the Canine Creek staff does NOT have access to PayPal
payments and/or e-mails pertaining to online orders
-- only the owners have access to this information. Once an order has been
placed, the best way to contact us is to
send an e-mail
(the staff answering the phone at the store will have no record of your
online order, and cannot access it). Please note that we only ship
to CONFIRMED Paypal addresses. Shipping rates quoted are for the
continental USA only. Additional postage charges will apply
elsewhere.
INSURANCE CLAIMS
All shipments are mailed insured.
If your shipment arrives damaged, please keep the items, box, and all
packing materials, and contact us within 48 hours of receiving the
shipment. We will initiate an insurance claim, and have the
carrier contact you to inspect the damage. Insurance claims cannot
be made unless all items, and the shipping box and materials are made
available for inspection by the carrier.
HOLIDAY SCHEDULE
Canine Creek is closed on all major
holidays. If you write to us or submit an order on a holiday when
we are closed, we will respond on the next business day. For a
