Family fun at Canine Creek
Professional quality stainless
steel, waist high, grooming
tubs
with high backsplash and sides that will safely hold any size dog -- from
the tiniest Chihuahua to the biggest Saint Bernard. No more back strain and knee pain
from washing the dog in your bathroom's "human" tub! Tie-downs are
included, with the dog facing right or left,
so you don't have to worry about holding him in place, and you can easily
wash both sides of the dog. Inside each tub
is a raised grate platform, which keeps Fido out of the
wet, hairy, soapy water during bathing and drying, making the job easier. Each tub is
set in it's own 5' wide x 4' deep cubicle, which provides more privacy and
helps keep dogs calmer.
Warm water hand-sprayers,
choice of pet shampoo,
a rubber scrubbing brush, bath towels (as many as you need, for no extra charge),
a professional high-velocity pet hair dryer, and waterproof aprons are
provided at each bathing station. Under each tub is a wood barrel "locker"
on wheels, where you can safely store your personal items, such as keys,
sunglasses and purses, while you work. Grooming tables with tie-downs are
also available for
your use as needed. All these amenities are included with the Basic Bath
at one fixed price.
Full tubs on a weekend afternoon...
Additional grooming items (eye, tooth, ear & nail care) are
available in the Grooming Kit - see the prices page for more information. By the way..... there are no time
limits on tub, dryer or grooming table use, so feel free to take your time and
enjoy the experience with your dog.
A variety of pet colognes are available for
your use, upon request, after each basic bath at no extra charge. Scents
are subject to change, but usually include Vanilla, Berry,
Baby Powder, Green Apple, Pina Colada, Wild Cherry, and more. However, if
your pet has allergies or skin sensitivities, it might be best to skip the
colognes, and just go home smelling like a freshly washed dog.
No
appointment necessary. Our facilities are available on a first come, first
served walk-in basis, so you can stop by whenever it's convenient for you.
Metal stairs and a rubberized ramp are provided to help get big dogs into the
tub, or onto the grooming table, without straining your back. For those of
you with multiple dogs, holding crates are available in the shop so no one has to be left at
home, or in a hot car, while waiting their turn for a bath.

Cleanliness is very important to us. In order to provide the nicest
bathing experience, and prevent the spread of pet-related diseases, our tubs and
brushes are cleaned and disinfected after each use with a hospital-quality,
germicidal, anti-bacterial cleaning solution. Our fluffy white pet towels
are cleaned in a commercial grade washer with bleach, and dried on the hottest
setting possible. The shop is also wiped down, mopped and vacuumed
daily to insure that each customer enjoys a clean environment.... whether
they're the first or last visitor of the day.
Sit
back and relax. Bringing
along a friend or family member, and wonder what they'll do while you're bathing
Fido? Don't worry, we'll make sure they are comfortable. We have a
loveseat and chairs right outside the door under the covered walkway. To pass the time, and keep little
ones occupied during the wait, we offer a nice selection of Disney and other
family-friendly video movies, including several with animal themes.
Coloring books, crayons, paper and clipboards are also available upon request.
Convenient
hours, 7 days a week. Shop hours are
10am to 6pm every day, except major holidays. We are closed on New Year's
Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, the 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas
Day,
and a some days surrounding these holidays, depending on when they all during
the week. Dogs need to be in the tubs at least 30 minutes prior to closing (5:30pm) each day.
If our days or hours of operation change from what is posted above, we will update the website with
this information, and post a notice on the Canine Creek front door.

Cats
are welcome
at Canine Creek, as are other small domestic
pets, outside normal business hours or by
appointment.
We do not want to discriminate against our non-canine friends, but need to keep
the peace in the shop and reduce stress on all the pets. Please call (661) 822-0307 to make an appointment for your kitty
or household pet before you bring him to the shop. We will do
what we can to accommodate your schedule.
